There is one very important concept that i am going to teach you today about depreciation

Remember Depreciation can be calculated by taking into consideration the value of the fixed asset and dividing by its expected life period.

Let us take an Example: Suppose the value of a machine is Rs1,00,000 and its expected life is 10 years. Then the Depreciation would be calculated by the following formula

                                          Depreciation= Value of Asset/ Expected life

                      In this case Depreciation = 1,00,000/10

                                          Depreciation = 10,000
