Dear students 

A  very good morning

Today we are going to look at what are the type of disabilities and what are the causes for it.

There are 3 types of Disabilities :

COGNITIVE DISABILITY : -It is a nuerological disorder creating hindrance or obstructionfor an individual to store , process and produce information.

--- It can affect an individuals ability to read , write , speak or even compute.

--- It is also called Invisible disability as you may not be able to assess the condition just by looking at the individual.

--- Individuals who have such disabilities may have the following symptoms.

1) MEMORY DIS-ORDER

2) HYPERACTIVITY

3) PHYSICAL DISABILITY

• INTELLECTUAL DISABILITY : -- It has limitations in both intellectual functioning (reasoning, learning, problem solving) and in adaptive behaviour.

---  It is related to individuals thought process,communication,money,learning,problem solving and judgement.

---  Intellectual disability begins before the age of 18 years. 

• PHYSICAL DISABILITY : --Limitation on individuals physical functioning, mobility ( movement) dexterity or stamina.

-Physical disability also includes respiratory disorders, blindness, sleep disorders.

-Physical disability may be either motor deficiency( movement problem) or sensory impairment( problem with senses like hearing).

• GENETIC
• POVERTY
• MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS
• ACCIDENTS
• INFECTIOUS DISEASES
• DISTURBANCE IN ENDOCRINE GLANDS
• MALNUTRITION
• POOR APPROACH TO HEALTHCARE
• NUCLEAR ACCIDENTS
• TOXIC MATERIALS,PESTICIDES AND INSECTICIDES
• ILLNESS
• LACK OF EDUCATION
• WARS
• MEDICINES ANS VACCINES
• DANGEROUS WORKING ENVIRONMENT
